Cousin Time!
Tara and Michael's family got here on Thursday evening and they stayed until Saturday evening. It was fun! We actually didn't do much, but it was so nice to just sit and be with family. And the kids always have so much fun playing with their cousins.
On Friday, the kids had a Lego building competition, we went swimming at the George Lane park swimming pool, we watched Harry Potter 4, we ate tacos for dinner, we went on a nice long walk on the "forbidden path", and the kids slept out in the trailer. Saturday, the kids had another Lego competition, we watched Harry Potter 5, and the kids just played. William had his birthday party that evening as well (right before Tara's family left). It was so nice to have Tara here. I cried when she left. It's hard living so far away from my family. I miss them. I don't think Dad will ever come and visit us. He hasn't come since he came for a few days in January of 2020 for Mason's baptism. They have been many more places since then...but I guess Lancaster is so boring that it's not worth it to him to come and visit. I miss my Dad. Alyssa said that she will likely come spend Christmas with us, so that's exciting!
Here are a few pictures of our weekend (I didn't take many).
Pictures from William's 5th Birthday! His real birthday is on the 22nd...so I guess he gets two birthday's this year, ha ha. He isn't complaining! He got spoiled! I didn't take pictures of all of his gifts. He got this bowling set from Tara, he got some toy dragons and a dinosaur truck from Tia Miriam (Sandy's Sister), Darlene gave him a neat hot wheels track, and Grandma gave him a Lego set. He was very happy.
