I saw this quote today and wanted to post it here:

"The same God that placed that star in a precise orbit millennia before it appeared over Bethlehem in celebration of the birth of the Babe has given at least equal attention to placement of each of us in precise human orbits so that we may, if we will, illuminate the landscape of our individual lives, so that our light may not only lead others but warm them as well."

Elder Neal A. Maxwell

I have read this quote before and I have always liked it.  It makes me think of all of the wonderful people whom I've been able to meet in my life and who have had profound influences on me.  I don't believe in coincidences.  I believe that God knew exactly who I would need in my life.  He placed specific people in my life at the precise time that I needed them.  Sometimes they stayed a while, other times they went their own ways.  Yet they left their footprints in my heart and they will never be forgotten.  It's really difficult for me to think of the good friends that I have had in the past that are no longer a part of my life anymore.  I wish that I could stay friends with people for the long-term.  It hasn't ended up that way for me though.  Friends have come and gone.  It's sad for me to think about.  I would do anything to be able to find a real, genuine, and true friend that I can tell anything to...that helps me feel good about myself...that helps me be a better person.  I need a friend like that in my life right now.  So badly.  I often feel so incredibly lonely.  I long for a good friend.

I made these cheese garlic rolls for dinner tonight.  Lately, we have been having Salad Bar every Monday night for dinner.  It's a good tradition.  I have to make yummy bread to go on the side, of course.

General Conference couldn't come soon enough.  I have been feeling so down lately.  I really need the inspiration that this General Conference will provide.
