Sunday Scripts: September 27th, 2020
I didn't have the chance to write yesterday. The day got away with me and I didn't end up going to bed until after midnight. I went running in the morning, we went shopping (which took forever), Nana called me (such a wonderful surprise...I love her so much and I get very emotional when I think about her not being here one day), I read scriptures with Morgana, Jon's mom came over for dinner, we finished up Come Follow Me for the week...and then I had to work on the young women newsletter. I usually have it sent out by Saturday afternoon, but I didn't even start it until after 8:00 last night. I finished it at midnight. It takes a long time...and I'm a perfectionist, at times, so it probably took me longer than it needed to. I really do enjoy creating those newsletters, even if Lizzie is the only YW to actually read them. I wouldn't be surprised if it were true! I really appreciate Lizzie. She is so kind and makes me feel like a million bucks.
We had a virtual church fast and testimony meeting today. It was nice to see the ward members again, even if only through the computer. Both Bryce and Lizzie bore their testimonies. I was so proud of them. It takes a lot of courage to do something like that, and even more so to be able to do it on the computer (which I feel is a lot more difficult).
On with the scripts!

"Welcome back to the Sunday Spectacular. It is written by me. Yes, I am typing this right now as we speak. William is pressing a magnifying glass on his nose for some weird reason. Don't be surprised when you see a picture of a squished up booger full nose on this blog. Ick. On Friday, the 25th of September, 2020, we went out to Bj's. We ate outside, because of social distancing. I ate a Hamburger, with fries, and fruit on the side. And root beer. We didn't get a dessert though. Sad face. After dinner, we had a sleepover at Grandma's house. I was the only one who slept on an actual bed, because Bryce, Mason, and James wanted to sleep in the living room, and Caitlyn and Lydia wanted to sleep next to each other on the air mattresses. Me and the girls had a mini party in "our room". We listened to music, played Lego's, and sewed and did crafts. The next morning we ate blueberry waffles and eggs, and then we watched Moana and went shopping. Nobody knows what I bought, so HAHAHAH. I bought.....nothing. Just kidding, I bought some fake flowers to make some fancy flower pens, and I bought a notebook. (you can never have to much notebooks until you have to much notebooks) And I bought it all with my own money! Even though I only spent like two dollars, I'm still proud of myself for spending my own money! Today I am finally going to finish reading Pres. Nelsons talks. At church, ("church") I beared (bore?) my testimony. It was easier doing it on zoom, because your talking to a screen. Bryce has a pink eye, and Mother dearest wanted to put eye drops in his eyes. I will illustrate this principle through song:
(Sing in the tune of row row your boat)
Bryce, Bryce, Brycie boy, open up your eye! Don't make Daddy sit on you, Please, oh Bryce don't cry. Bryce, Bryce, Brycie boy, stop crying like a goat. You are wiggling like a pig upon a bacon boat. Bryce, Bryce, Brycie boy, your face is turning red. It's just a drop, going into your eye, inside your Brycie head. Bryce, Bryce, Brycie boy, we all are holding you down. You'l never stop, never give in, and all you do is frown. SO...Bryce, Bryce, Brycie boy, you gave us a nasty look. We had no choice, so whoop-dee-doo, we're letting you of the hook. (for now...)
Hope you enjoyed this Sunday Spectacular! (Random commercial guy says.."Until next time folks!")
Bryce Over, Age 11
"Yesterday we went to shop and we went to Barne's and Noble, Target, Dollar Store, and Five Below. And at Five Below I got a zappy pen and it zaps people. I zapped me so I could wake up. It zaps hard and it zickles. At Barnes and Nobles I got a slammy thingy. It slams and it's kablues. And we went to Shakey's to eat. I got a mexican rice bowl. Black beans and fajita chicken. It was yummy, yummy, in my tummy. And the chips were scented lime. And I got mini churros. They are yummy in my tummy. And I also got a language arts test. I got a 93% on it and I am proud of it because I got an "A" on it and I like to get "A's". And this week's question is...how many licks does it take to get to the center of a tootsie pop? Count every lick, too. And we watched Mickey Mouse, and Phineas and Ferb, and Moana. Mason got a Pokemon Lego. No one knows what Lizzie got, AKA nothing. And I solved a Rubix cube and now I ruined it. I'm trying to solve it. I got a cheaters edition rubix cube. Something cool about it is that it's a cheaters edition. You can flip the corners. I bore my testimony on fast Sunday. And I fasted today. I bear my testimony that the church is true and that Joseph Smith translated the Book of Mormon. That he translated the gold plates to the Book of Mormon. In the Name of Jesus Christ Amen. I am building a ghostmobile and a republic gun ship, out of scratch, no instructions. Well, 90 percent from scratch. It's pretty cool. It has guns. We had a sleepover and it was hard to sleep and it was hard to sleep because there was a bunch of trains. Me and James stayed up all night. I went poo in the middle of the night. I tried to go to sleep but we talked a bit. I thought I heard a zombie. I'm excited for general conference and we get to eat cinnamon buns. We only eat cinnamon buns on general conference and we get to listen to the prophet. I got a clock. We had no science on Friday. I don't like science, it's kind of boring. Because we are learning about yogurt. We are also learning about Salmonella. I like watermelon gum, over all of the gum. Except for the grape gum, that's good too. I wonder what they taste like together. I haven't tried Starburst gum yet. I wonder what it tastes like. Welcome to the Sunday Spectacular. I am done."
Mason Over, Age 8
"This week we went on a sleepover at Grandma's house for the last time. It's the last time because they are moving. It made me feel sad. At our sleepover we watched Phinneas and Ferb and a couple Micky Mouse episodes. In the morning we watched a movie and went shopping. After we went shopping we ate. We at at Sharkey's. And I got a new pokemon Lego set. It was a terrocat Lego set. And I also got a, like, basketball thingy. And I got a dino slingshot."
Caitlyn Over, Age 6
"Caitlyn. Yesterday I went to a sleepover. And I sleept there. And we ated at Sharkey's and we had a bowl of beans and rice and chicken. And we had water and chips with salsa. And then we went to the Dollar Tree, also called The Dollar Store, and I got a mermaid barbie that was pink and a unicorn notebook. Lizzie got nothing. And Lydia got a little mermaid one that was pink too and it had the little fishies. She had a little doll thing that had a little kitchen. Brycie and Mason got a Lego set. Bryce got a zap pen. And it zaps. Mason got a Pokemon one. We went to a lot of other stores that we were going to buy stuff but we didn't. I was going to buy a little pink backpack but I didn't. And we, it's church today. And I didn't talk about anything because I wasn't going to talk about it because I was not on the zoom meeting. I was going to talk about fasting. Um, it was about, you need to fast for something, like the Bishop said. For the Coronavirus and the fire. And other people. And we can fast for Nana and a lot of stuff. And I drawed a unicorn today. But I'm still coloring on it. Me and Lizzie talked to Nana on the phone yesterday. Me and Lizzie did our duet. Me and William made a secret hideout in my closet. And when I have my own room I can make my own secret hideout in that giant closet and no spiders will go. I'll be on my big bed so no spiders can eat me. I got new clothes when I was done going to the sleepover. And, um, Mommy, I love you. Did you write that down? Mason almost collected all of the Pokemon Legos. He only has 5 pokemons. Actually, one, two, three, four. Sorry. I don't like doing Acellus. And I'm doing it tomorrow but I don't want to because it's annoying and I don't like it. I don't like it. I don't like it. I love you all that are reading this. In the name of Jesus Christ, Amen."
William Over, Age 4
"I slept on Mommy's bed when the kids were gone. It was so comfortable and so nice. I didn't sleep on the barf bed. I slept on Mommy's and Daddy's bed. It was super fun. I watched Pokemon at night. Pokemon is the bestest. And Mason got a new Pokeball and and new Pokemon. It was the bestest. Grandma gave us a surprise. And we colored it. And Caitlyn went with me in my secret hideout. It was so cool inside. And I like church. I like everything inside of church. And everything that begins to the Earth. We didn't make our own selves. Jesus made us. Brycie is funny and he is also mean, too. He can change. Bad to good, bad to good. At night we sleep but Brycie stays. I wasn't comfortable inside of the bed when I was sleeping. Brycie was sleeping by his own self and I was sleeping in your bed and watching something. But now it's morning. So that I'm getting for Christmas. A Ghostbuster Playmobile and it's going to be the bestest. And it can be, in the Name of Jesus Christ, Amen. Pokeman is better than ninjago. Brycie has a magic kind of glass. We are going to a place. We are going to talk to our cousins on the phone. We had fun so much. But they eated ad we didn't. I wonder how they eat? But soon they came back. And it was nighttime. Then it was morning. Caitlyn is funny, too. And it's so magic. Sprinkles went down. Something is fear. Monsters are but I'm not scared of them. They aren't real, just statues. And Caitlyn sings, Hosanna. I like Mommy. And I love Mommy. And Caitlyn is super funny. And I love Mommy so much. We beginned at the beach. And we builded a tent. And I ate a snack. And I know how to eat almonds now. Catilyn is more funnier. And I laugh at Caitlyn. Everyone has white teeth. Even mommy. Mason wants to do art hub this day. And everyone has hair. And we can too. In the Name of Jesus Christ, Amen. In two orders. And I like Mommy so much. And Daddy, too. And I thank you, Mommy for letting me sleep over there. On your bed. And Mommy's eyes are beautiful. And Caitlyn is more funnier. And Caitlyn has 13 eyes."
