We are in Escrow!

Well, as of today our house is officially in Escrow!

A lot has developed over the last few days.

The last time I wrote we were still considering the yellow house.  Well, as it turns out, the owners didn't like the offer that we made!  They were being quite ridiculous.  The good news is, after exhausting all of our options (not many homes are for sale in Antelope Acres) we found another dream home!  Even better news is that it is practically move-in ready.  It needs a little help with the flooring, but aside from that it is picture perfect.  It's a dream home!  The front already has a circular driveway and mature trees!  It sits on a 2.5 acre lot.  It comes with a 1800 square foot shed!  The house is bright and beautiful and full of light.  The windows are my favorite part about the home.  It was built in 1991, so it's a bit dated, but it has been taken care of very well.  Over time it will need to be updated but it is just fine for now.  We really are in love with this home.  We put our offer in this afternoon.  I'm praying that it is accepted!  It would be a dream come true!

The ironic part?

It is RIGHT NEXT DOOR to the Yellow House?!  If we get this home we will spend the rest of forever looking at our "Dream Home #1"!

Life has been busy lately.

Here are a few pictures:

The weather was nice for a few days!  The kids enjoyed playing outside.

Caitlyn chose to be like Jesus by sharing her favorite Little Mermaid Bubble Wand with William.

William chose to be like Jesus by picking flowers all by himself and giving them to Mommy.

Mason chose to be like Jesus by willingly emptying the dishwasher for Bryce one morning.

Lizzie, William, and I hung out at the library will the boys were at piano lessons.  Caitlyn stays at piano lessons with them and plays with the piano teachers little sister.

Caitlyn's preschool class, eating lunch outside!

They made these cute little "M is for Monster" crafts!

William at the Library.  I actually felt a twinge of sadness that day in the library.  William suddenly looked so big...not like a baby anymore!  He is now closer to age 3 than age 2.  Hard to believe!  And he is doing so well with his potty training.  He hasn't had an accident in days.  He still wears a diaper at night but I'm fine with that.

Caitlyn's preschool class, again!  I had them all over for 3 hours...and normally it goes by really quickly but today it DRAGGED ON FOREVER!  There is a new little boy in the class and his attention span is only 1 minute long.  I used to be able to spend a longer time on each mini activity...but today I had to whip through the activities.  They were fighting with each other and crying and tattling...I found myself praying that their parents would miraculously come earlier than planned to come and pick them up!  They are good kids, of course, but something was definitely off with the crew today.

Caitlyn loves peeling carrots!  She is good at it, too!

Anyway, let's see if life slows down a bit and I will try to get back in the habit of posting every night again.
