Wonder Woman

Another busy day in the books!

I came across a few quotes today that I just have to put in this journal.

1.  "My kids wanted to know what it was like being a Mom...so I woke them up at 2:00 in the morning just to tell them that my sock fell off."  Love it!

2.  "I asked my friend what I could do to best prepare for motherhood...she told me to talk to a bunch of rocks, as my kids would have similar listening abilities."  Ha ha!!!

The kids played dress up this morning.  William had to be Batman, as usual.

Caitlyn was Cookie Monster Girl today.

I had to fold the laundry, again.  Yay!

We watched our little friend, Miah, for an hour or so while her Mommy went to the gym.  William and Miah are in the same nursery class and get along great!

A few weeks ago, Jon randomly surprised William with a Batman doll.  It came in the mail one day, out of the blue.  Needless to say, Caitlyn did not take this well.

I told Jon about the time when I was growing up when my Dad surprised Tara with a Bart Simpson doll.  She just woke up one morning and the doll was sitting on her dresser.  I was so jealous and for the next two months would wake up and stare at my dresser, hoping that I would get my very own Bart Simpson doll.  Why I wanted one, I have no clue.  We weren't even allowed to watch that cartoon!  Anyway, It's a funny story now but Jon didn't want this to be Caitlyn's "Bart Simpson" story.

So today Caitlyn randomly got a surprise in the mail.  A Wonder Woman doll.  She was ecstatic!  I'm sure she will have her "Bart Simpson Moment" one day...but today wasn't that day.

I had to document how Caitlyn loves helping in the kitchen.  Today she stirred the cheese into the Macaroni and Cheese that we ate for lunch.

For the record, here are a few other things on our agenda today:
