Bryce's 11th Birthday and our 14th Anniversary

 Bryce's Birthday!

Our 14th Anniversary!

Chocolate Homemade Donuts for Breakfast!

Just a few gifts because we gave him his big one yesterday.

Jon's Facebook Post about our Anniversary.  I didn't write anything today.

"As I sit here at my computer, I look over to a panoramic collage of photos from our wedding day. Young smiles all around that September 1. Fast forward to this September 1 and there have been many smiles. Perhaps we are not as young as we were in those time-encapsulated photos: the anguish of miscarriages; the anxiety when pay day is two weeks away and you have less than a dollar to your name; the disappointment of dreams forlorn of moving out of state; the shared loss of family and loved ones; the sleepless nights of crying babies; the nights of continuously vomiting kids. We have grown together. We are not as inexperienced either in regards to the joys we have shared: five successful births of five magnificent children; the many times we have just sat and laughed while the kids were running a muck; the eye contact we make when something is randomly funny and we try so hard to not laugh at an inappropriate time; sitting together as a family in church or at home discussing the gospel; growing a greater capacity and desire to serve others; playing Christmas duets on the piano; working hard together on the infinite literal weeds around us; raising respectable sons and daughters, the next generation. Can there be any greater experience in this mortality than to belong to the human family and to share in its joys and sorrows with others? I am grateful to be doing so with my companion

on this our quarantined anniversary. Thank you and here's to many more experiences to come! Love you."

I learned this new visual representation of the Plan of Redemption and it's my new favorite thing. I love it. I feel like I can teach the whole entire gospel with this diagram. I taught it to the kids today for our Come Follow Me Lesson.
