Seed of Faith

We talked about Alma 32 today during our "Come Follow Me" time.  Alma 32:28 talks about how to tell if a seed is a good seed.  My whole entire life I had no clue that there was a built in acronym in that verse!  How can we tell if a seed is a good seed?  Well, it will Swell within our breasts, it will Enlarge our souls, Enlighten our understanding, and taste Delicious to us.  I learned this from a youtube channel that Jon and I watch each week.  We call them "The Guys" and we always learn so much from them.  Along with "The Guys", I listen to the "Don't Miss This" podcast, as well as a few other "Come Follow Me" podcasts.  I am loving how much I am learning each week.  It's delicious to me.

Lizzie made another Lego creation.  This is a scene from the Book of Mormon when the Anti-Nephi-Lehi's bury their swords.  She's pretty good at this!

Here's our completed entertainment center, again.  The kids are watching "Wild Krats", a favorite show of William's.  Jon did such a wonderful job on this project.  I could look at it all day, ha ha.

Lizzie and Caitlyn, playing "Bunnies".

Caitlyn was amazing this morning.  She went to the dentist to get half of her dental work taken care of.  She was very nervous about this appointment.  I fasted for her yesterday and told her that I was fasting for her so that she could be brave and strong during her appointment.  All of the kids prayed for her.  We said a prayer before going in the dental office.  She told me that she prayed the entire time that she was sitting on the chair.  She is such a special little girl.  I love her so very much.

The dentist offered her laughing gas to hep her calm down, but I told the dentist that I thought she would be fine without it.  And she was.  The dentists were in shock and completely surprised at how well she behaved.  They said they have 1 patient like her in 1,000.  They said it's typical for a child her age to try to pull the instruments out of their mouths, move around, etc. etc.  Caitlyn sat perfectly still and allowed the dentist to do what they needed to do.  I was so proud of her.

I'm sad that she had to get dental work done in the first place.  We had just started allowing her to brush her own teeth.  I found out that we should probably continue brushing our children's teeth until they are age 10-12.  I guess we have completely failed our children in that regard.  Dental problems are the worst.  I feel so guilty about my kids' cavities.  I honestly feel like it's all my fault.  Oh well...they will grow up soon and their dental problems will not be my fault any longer.  The dental guilt is a killer though!
