New Sunday Tradition: Sunday Scripts, July 12th 2020
My new Sunday Tradition will be to post 1 picture of each child (I told them to make whatever fave they wanted to) and to ask them about their week, their testimonies (etc.) and to record their answers on here. I will refer to this new tradition as "Sunday Script".
"This week I played "Bunny" with Caitlyn. We also had some tea parties with our Bunnies. I knitted a hat and I started knitting a scarf. I taught a "Come Follow Me Lesson" for church this week. I talked about the good news of the gospel and how it fortifies us from Anti-Christ's. And Jesus is the correct path who leads us to heaven while Satan speedily drags us down to hell. This week I read a lot about, I read half the book, I read...uh...of "The School For Good And Evil". It is the 4th book in the series. They are making a movie of them soon and I am excited. Also I want to see the Baby Sitters club thingy on Netflix. I also watched Studio C like for three hours every day, actually like 30 minutes because Mommy said that too much TV is unhealthy for childs minds. Although she talked to me about her childhood and how she ate a lot of food and candy and watched TV and peed in rivers, etc., etc. Hmm...let's see. I tried to grab some scraps of wood from my father, Jethro, who was making stuff out of wood and I wanted to have it, the scraps of wood, but he said "no" because I would just make dumb decorations again. Because that's what they are, apparently. This is good for my health, by the way. Okay, that's it, I think. I want to read it."
"This week I played legos. And I built a lot of lego sets. I watched "Avatar". For my talk on Sunday i talked about...hmm...the Earth and the Creation. I have another...nothing. Uh...this week I'm going to make hamburgers and potato salad for my dinner. Yeah. I'm done."
"I don't know what to say. I mostly just did legos. I went on a bike ride. And I'll bear my testimony. That, um, ha ha. Um, hee hee hee. Hee hee hee. That, hee hee, hmph. Hee hee hee hee hmph. Heee heeee! Heeee heeeeee heeeeee heeeeee heeeee huuuuuu heeeeee huuuuuu. Ha ha ha. Um...that the church is true. And Heavenly Father is true because we live. Snorkle. Hee hee. Hee hee hee hee heee. Okay. Why did you write okay? And today is Sunday. Hee Hee. Hee Hee! Heee heee heee huuu. Are we almost done? Tee hee hee. Heee heeee heee. Laugh laugh laugh. That's funny. I would like to bear my testimony that...what are you doing? I was trying to read it. Oh. I don't know what to say. Goodbye! Ha ha ha!"
"I want to write my name is Caitlyn. And I am six. And that I had so much good presents from my sister and my mudder and my fader and my broder. My grandma comed over. And it was fun. My week was about my sister told me that, she told me this talk, I forgot about it. Did you write it down? Even the snore? (Snort, snort). That I lost a toof. And I have another wiggling toof. And that when I was in Utah my Daddy and Mommy changed seats. Mommy drived and Daddy drived. And Mommy drived and daddy drived. That was true. And that Daddy is...uh...building a shelf. And I am grateful for it. And that he actually painted wood every single night and day. He's almost done tomorrow. Well, my sister growed a eyebrow. And...what holiday was it? July? 4th of July, ha ha ha ha. And, no it's not the end, are you writing that down? Ha ha, ha ha, snort. And it's just that I cutted my nails and it hurts sometimes. No one knows that. You grow nails, they are too long! Cut nails, they are too short! (Daddy in the background...you're such a graby). Daddy, Mommy is writing what you said. Um, so, one time I had this dream that me and mommy were shopping and she had a stretchy arm that made me cry. And she reached something with her stretchy arm in the store. It was sad. And it was a dream. And one day she will come back again. And Daddy is leading the music from google. And did you know that you are a special person? You...are a good person. You...have good strength. And you...are a missionary. Okay...the end. I'm done, Mama, okay? I'm done!"
"Today I'm going to eat...uh...breakfast dinna. Yep. Inside I gone to eat in the morning and I, uh, talked with the church and I, and, that's it. My toy transforms, like I have a ninja turtle transformer, I just have one ninja turtle and a T-rex. Those are transformers. And, uh, when we do church we learn about Jesus and we do good stuff and we be good and not mean. And I buried my sword to not be mean. In the name of Jesus Christ Amen. That's it."
