Playing Catch-up

I don't know how it happened, but I haven't posted since Saturday!  It's Wednesday!

Actually, I do know what happened.  We have been going crazy cleaning and packing!

We still have so many things to pack up, but we had to get the house ready for pictures and for showings.  We had a photographer come this morning and our house should be on the market by Friday.  We are having an open house on Sunday (our realtor will deal with it while we are at church).  We will be offering on our dream house within the next few days as well.  It's all happening so fast.  To be honest, I am so excited for that house...but I'm beyond sad that we will have to leave our ward.  It breaks my heart.

Let's play a little catch-up!

On Sunday, we went over to the Nelson's for dinner.  It was seriously so much fun and I'm going to miss them more than I can say.  They will be moving back to Utah within a year or so.  I'll be so sad when that happens.  Our other friends (The Tingey's) came to dinner that night as well.  Angie is my friend that I run with every week.  The good news is that they aren't moving out of state anymore!  Yay!

Life has continued to go on as usual, despite the packing.

I still had to drive the kids to and from school.

Potty training update:  William is doing so well!  He hardly has accidents any more!  I still follow him around with his little frog potty, but for the most part he tells me that he has to go when he has to go.  It is a miracle that he caught on so quickly.  It's hard to believe that as soon as he becomes night trained I will be done with diapers forever!

I love this quote from President Hinckley:

Sarah Nelson is President Hinckley's granddaughter.  She is always talking about how her Mom (President Hinckley's daughter) says the exact same thing all of the time.  The funny thing is that it bothers her when her Mom says it because she feels like even though her Mom thinks that things will work out...they still have to talk about things, ha ha.  I guess that her Mom sometimes avoids talking about things sometimes because she automatically just says, "Don't worry, it will all work out".  So funny!

The other day Caitlyn came up to me and told me that she was controlling our remote control toy with the TV remote.  I didn't believe her until I tried it myself!  It was true...our TV remote was moving our remote control airplane.  Crazy!

These pictures popped up on my Facebook account today.  I can't believe it's been a whole year since Grandma and Grandpa Duncan flew all the way to Lancaster (via airplane...not wings, as Caitlyn believed at the time).  Looking at these pictures I see how much the kids have grown since then.  I can hardly wait until this Summer when we can all see them in person again.

This is the kids and I (and William's potty) hanging out together in one small portion of the house for 2 hours while the photographer was taking photograph's today.  Will climbed all over me and Caitlyn practiced her letters on "Starfall".

I haven't posted any of my "Come, Follow Me" reminder pictures that I create and send out to the ward members via email and Facebook every week.  It's part of my church calling now.  It's a lot of fun!
