Cousin Time!

Image
Tara and Michael's family got here on Thursday evening and they stayed until Saturday evening.  It was fun!  We actually didn't do much, but it was so nice to just sit and be with family.  And the kids always have so much fun playing with their cousins. On Friday, the kids had a Lego building competition, we went swimming at the George Lane park swimming pool, we watched Harry Potter 4, we ate tacos for dinner, we went on a nice long walk on the "forbidden path", and the kids slept out in the trailer.  Saturday, the kids had another Lego competition, we watched Harry Potter 5, and the kids just played.  William had his birthday party that evening as well (right before Tara's family left).  It was so nice to have Tara here.  I cried when she left.   It's hard living so far away from my family.  I miss them.  I don't think Dad will ever come and visit us.  He hasn't come since he came for a few days in January of 2020 for M...

Camping in Malibu

On Monday we took our trailer out for a one night camping trip.  Tara's family is in CA for the week (she'll be visiting us Friday and Saturday).  She was at Zuma Beach with some friends and we decided to meet them and tag along.  We ended up only being with them for an hour, but it was fun!  We haven't been to Zuma Beach before and I'm pretty sure we will be going again. Utah Trip!

I'm sorry that I haven't written in a LONG time.  But, as I always say, better late than never.  I need to do better.  At least a weekly post would be better than my sporadic post.  So many details are missing and will eventually be forgotten. We got back (yesterday) from another Utah trip.  It was amazing.  My hormones were out of whack a bit before we left (I was feeling a little depressed)...so it was good to go and regulate myself a bit.  We were not able to go to Logan and visit Dad, Lisa, and Alyssa...they got Covid as we were driving up so we weren't able to see them.  We cut our trip a few days short.  Tara and Michael will be visiting for a few days next week.  It will be good to spend some time with them again. We left last Tuesday morning and spent the first night in Mesquite.  What an adventure, ha ha.  It was pouring rain so we weren't able to swim in the pool, as anticipated.  We thought we would do cos...
