It's been a long 2 weeks!  It's been so wonderful though and I am really not ready for the kids to go back to school tomorrow.  I love having them home and I love having our freedom and no real responsibilities.  Summer couldn't come soon enough! We found out this week that Grandpa Duncan had a stroke.  We were all so sad.  We all fasted for him and have been praying every day for his recovery.  Even 7-year-old Mason, who has never fasted before, wanted to fast for Grandpa.  He dd so well and I was so proud of him!  We can hardly wait until June when we can visit Nana and Grandpa in person. I didn't realize it, but one of the days this week I did Walmart Pick-up (where I order things on-line and then the worker brings the groceries out to my car) and accidentally ordered A TON of these chocolate eggs!  They truly are the best chocolate egg in the world, so I'm not really complaining...but what in the world are we going to do with the...

Spring Break Shenanigans - Part 4

Monday was a pretty busy day, but I only snapped the following two pictures! William woke up at 6:00 in the morning...we cuddled on the couch and he drank his milk (as usual).  Then he went back to sleep for the next 1.5 hours!  I was stranded on that couch...so I used my time wisely and worked on my Personal Progress.  The Young Women Program is changing their Personal Progress program at the end of the year...so Lizzie has one year to earn her medallion.  Mother's can work on their personal progress with their daughters...so I'm committed to earn mine in a year as well!  It is significantly different completing the goals as an adult versus a young women.  But I am still learning.  I must admit that I feel older and wiser than I did when I was a young woman.  I hadn't really realized it...but it's true.  With age, comes wisdom!  I can hardly wait to be 100 years old! Here's little Will: We went to the Zoo today!...

Friday March 22nd, 2019 Lizzie was able to go to the temple for the very first time to do baptisms for the dead!  We went to the Los Angeles Temple, of course.  It was an amazing experience and I feel so privileged to have been able to be there with her to witness her very first time walking inside of God's Holy House.  She loved it.  She said that it felt very different than outside of the Temple.  She said it felt very nice, quiet, and peaceful. She did SEVENTEEN family names!  Jon has been really into family history recently and has found a lot of names from his side of the family.  12 names were from Jon's side and I was also able to find 5 names from my side of the family.  So, 17 names it was!  What a special experience.  Little Will!  He kept touching Jesus's feet and saying "Ouch, Jesus is hurt!" Saturday March 23, 2019 Angie and I ran our half marathon!  Finally!  And I s...
