William got his Booster Shots

These first two pictures were from yesterday.

Lizzie made this awesome Harry Potter scarf!  She's going to be Hermione Granger for Halloween.  She'll wear this outfit and bring her Hermioni wand as well.  Lizzie is so talented!  And, most importantly, she works hard.  She is talented at many things because she has a growth mindset.  She doesn't give up.  She keeps trying to learn something until she figures it out.  Then she ends up becoming very proficient at it.  She's amazing!

I made Dinner in a Pumpkin last night for dinner!  It was a hit.  It had rice, broccoli, carrots, corn, chicken, and a yummy sauce.  I really loved it!  And the cooked pumpkin was amazing as well.  I also made pumpkin chocolate chip cookies yesterday.  I made them for us and for the sisters that I minister to.  I made a visit yesterday and two today.

William had a check-up today at Kaiser.  Just his regular yearly check-up along with booster shots.  William impressed the doctors when he was able to say all of the letters in his eye exam!  And his doctor was very impressed that he already knew how to read.  He's a smarty pants!

The Young Women program is celebrating its 150 year anniversary this year.  The young women in our stake were asked to do something in celebration.  Lizzie learned how to play 150 hymns and she wrote 3 things that she was thankful for in her gratitude journal for 150 days.  Additional reasons to prove how amazing this girl is!

Now...on to my nutrition class.  On Saturday I finished a big assignment as well as an exam.  This week I just have a lecture and then an extra credit quiz.  The semester will be over before I know it.

The more and more that I think about it, the more I'm realizing that I really do want to be an LVN.  I will probably apply for the program in 2022.  2021 will still be a little unpredictable with COVID...so I will keep myself busy with volunteering and substituting in the mean time.
