Tarantulas and Bones!
Today will be short and sweet. I need to listen to a Nutrition 100 lecture and so I don't have time to pour my soul out, ha ha.
One thing though, I don't think that I will be able to apply for the LVN program that starts in Fall of 2021. Things are just too unpredictable with this pandemic. If I will need to home school my kids again next Fall than I will not be able to be in school full time (as well as the time at the hospital). So, I guess I'll play it by ear. My kids are my first priority. If they all want to be home-schooled, then I will happily home-school them. For as long as they would like me to. Lizzie will be starting High School next year, which means early morning seminary! I can't believe we have already reached that stage of life.
I am worried about Mason. He is such an anxious little boy. He is so young, yet he is already exhibiting signs of anxiety and depression. I want to make sure that I'm always there for him when he needs me.
Secretly, I would love to be a seminary teacher. I would choose that any day over being a nurse. I hope and pray that I will be able to teach seminary at one point in my life.
Anyway...on to the TARANTULA!
We were playing Hide-and-Seek after dinner and we saw a tarantula on our grass!! What?! This is something I would have never expected to see. The girls screamed and ran inside as fast as their legs would carry them. The boys and I were "brave" and we watched it. It crawled around on the grass for a while and then it crawled into the sprinkler hole. I texted my family and they thought it was fake! I assured them that it was very, very real! It was the craziest thing ever! A nice change from our usual rattle snakes though, ha ha.
