Back to the Grind

 Another Monday in the books!

It's always difficult to get started after a nice relaxing weekend.

Today went well though.  I am overwhelmed with feelings of love for my family.  I couldn't be happier.

After school today I took the kids to Warlmart for a few things that I forgot to get over the weekend.  We also went to Michael's because Lizzie wanted to buy some yarn.  She wants to crochet a Harry Potter scarf for Halloween.

After dinner (our usual Salad Bar Monday), the kids played outside.  The weather was perfect.  I am reminded of how much I love living here.  The summers are hot and miserable, but the months of October to May are the best ever!

The boys were doing tricks with the basketball.

Lizzie, William, and Caitlyn had fun looking at the next door animals.  Our neighbors have goats, dogs, pigs, chickens, and sheep.  They are so fun to watch!

The countdown is on.  In 2 days we will have Jon's parents and Grandma living with us.  We made them a "room" in our library by adding shower curtains all around.  It looks ugly, but not too bad...it will work!

For our Halloween Treat today I made Pretzel Ghosts.  They were a hit, of course.

Oh yeah, Lizzie's new glasses came in!  She loves them, which makes me happy.

We were dying laughing yesterday.  We saw this cookbook in a Deseret Book catalog.  It looks like this author's name is Tara Teaspoon.  We thought it was hilarious!
