Sunday Scripts: August 16th, 2020

Another Sunday of Sunday Scripts!  Lizzie is having a family birthday party tonight, so I'll take pictures of that and either post later on tonight or I will include those pictures in tomorrow's post.

On with the Scripts!

Elizabeth, Age 13

"Welcome back to the Sunday Special.  This week, as you all know, was my birthday.  I got lots of presents, and will be getting more today.  And I started crocheting yarn.  It's good but kind of frustrating.  Because a lot of knots get tied, accidentally.  My favorite presents were a watch, a Book of Mormon Journal, and a Harry Potter Crochet thingy, and a tiny puzzle that doesn't work, and sticky notes, and a sloth wallet, and a Harry Potter Stationary set, and a Harry Potter Hedwig doll and the History of Magic Book.  I got a llama stationary set too.  And...there are probably more but I forgot.  I went out to eat with Daddy on my birthday.  I got Avocado Egg Rolls.  And they were yummy.  And Caitlyn is begging to play Lego's with me so I guess that's it.  Thank you for joining us for the Sunday Spectacular Special.  Have a wonderful evening. Bryce, Age 10

"Lizzie had a birthday and she turned 13.  Last Monday we had a giant cookie.  We started school.  School is boring because I have to do zoom meetings and it's confusing.  I like lunch at school.  Google drawings, you can draw things.  I drew a circle with sticks and a laptop.  It was my classroom.  30 second Bomb, it's a timer bomb, you have 30 seconds for you to find something.  It's a scavenger hunt.  We played it on a zoom meeting.  I'm excited for next weekend...then school will be over.  Today at church I talked about Abinadi.  He was a prophet and the rest of the Book of Mormon would not have existed if it weren't for Abinadi.  I have a joke: Do Gorilla's have waffle teeth?  I'm just wondering.  There is a fire outside and there was lightning.  For my birthday I am going to have a cookie cake.  And I'm going to get a girl lego set.  On my cake, can I have those little tiny chocolate sprinkles?"

Mason, Age 8

"This week is Lizzie's birthday party.  And me and Bryce built a Lego mountain house thingy.  We went to the Library and got a couple Goosebumps books.  School started this week and it was kind of not fun because you have to do computer the whole time.  There was a fire at Lake Hugs (Hughes).  The fire fighters had to work hard to stop the fire and some people had to evacuate their homes.  I cried about cleaning my fish tank."

Caitlyn, Age 6

"Um...me and Lizzie are playing Legos.  It was Lizzie's birthday.  Lizzie got a new watch.  We got twin clothes.  And it's her party today.  And it's Sunday.  I went shopping and I got a unicorn notebook.  And I got a pen and a pink notebook from Lizzie.  School started.  I like Math.  That's it."

William, Age 4

"I just did it.  Okay, so, uh, it was my birthday and I got presents.  And then it was Lizzie's birthday.  And then mommy was making a cake. And then I wanted to be nice and not be mean.  And I buried my sword.  And I say prayers.  School is like preschool.  And sometimes we play with each other and, uh, we help and we be helpful.  And we can be good.  And then I played with my toys.  Batman.  And I'm just done."
