Monday Funday
School went well today...I'm still concerned about how this is all going to work out, but I think it will be okay. As long as they are all continuously learning and improving...I hope that's enough for them to be ready for next year.
I took Lizzie to Gorman in order for her to pick up her Chromebook for school. It didn't work out...we will have to pick it up later. But William took a nice nap in the car! And I was able to listen to a Come Follow Me Podcast...so it was a win for me, regardless of whether or not we picked up a Chromebook. In addition, Nana called me when we were driving home. It was such a wonderful phone call. I love her so much. She just called to tell me that she's praying for me night and day and that she prays that I have the strength to make it through the stressful. What a wonderful grandma she is. She just makes me feel good about myself. I needed someone to cheer me on today...it was an answer to prayers that she called me. It's hard not having a Mom to call. Mom's are natural cheerleaders. Mom would always tell me that she was proud of me and that I was doing a good job. Not having Mom has been hard because no one has taken her place in that regard. Aside from Nana. Nana has been a wonderful "mother" for me since Mom died. I go to her for advice, I send her pictures of the kids...everything that I would do if Mom was still alive. I feel so blessed to have such a Nana. And that we have been able to have such a good relationship despite living so far apart.
We had a little fun in the middle of the day today...
