Feeling Crafty

I finished planning out the Halloween Countdown today.  I still have to glue it all together (I have to buy more glue sticks).  I have a feeling it's going to take a long time to glue it all on.  I also have to figure out how I'm going to hang it on the wall.  I guess I'll need to buy a dowel.  And some more ribbon.  Anyway, I was reminded today of how much I really do enjoy crafting.  I should do it more often.

After dinner the kids played outside.  Lizzie has a new trick on her bike...using no feet.  I'm not sure I'm a fan of her new trick, ha ha.  Especially because Mason follows her every move and I saw him attempting the same thing.  He isn't as coordinated so imagine he will be getting some bumps and bruises over the next few days as I tries out this trick.

Today is William's LAST day as a 3-year-old.  I can't believe it.  He's my baby.  He's 2 years older than the other kids were when they became an older sibling...but he is turning 4 and I still refer to him as the baby.  I'm going to have to start being more tough on him.

Here is a picture of the sunrise that I took this morning on my run.  I went on a short run this morning.  I have become addicted to just being outside in the peace and quiet in the mornings.

Now on to decorating for William's birthday.  If I take a picture I will add it to this post.  I like to decorate the night before their birthday so that they have something to see first thing in the morning.

Here are his decorations and gifts. We got him a superhero backpack and sign at the DI in Utah, so that was inexpensive.  I bought 3 books on super clearance at Seagull Book in Utah, also very inexpensive.  We spent some money on other gifts...so I guess that he got spoiled this birthday.  Tara also gave us a batman shirt, socks, and slap bracelet.

I'm actually feeling a little guilty for spoiling him so much...I hope the guilt subsides soon.  I don't like feeling this way.
