A Goosebump Day

We had a great Saturday!

I read TWO Goosebumps books to Mason and the kids today.  Mason loves Goosebump books and he likes it when I read it to him because it goes by faster, ha ha.  I love the books as well so it's something that I enjoy doing with Mason.

Man, I love this kid!

Caitlyn and Lizzie hung out together today, as usual.  They even dressed alike.  They are the best sisters in the world.  I absolutely love how much they love and get along with one another.  I'm so blessed.

The boys got along well today as well.  They played Legos...what a surprise.  The kids also watched the Goosebumps Movie together.

Lizzie wanted me to put this picture on the journal/blog.  When we were in Mesquite a few weeks ago there was a waitress who wore this exact same shirt and the kids thought it was the funniest thing ever.

I made plum crisp for dessert today!  Another yummy food item to make with our backyard plums.  It was delicious!

Caitlyn wanted to take some selfies this morning, ha ha.

Jon's parents came over for dinner today.  I should have taken pictures!!  Next time, for sure.  His parents are thinking of selling their home while the market is high...and then they want to wait to buy a home until the market lowers.  As such, they will need a place to stay in the meantime.  We offered our home to them.  They said it will be for around 6 months.  I feel like we owe it to them.  We lived with them for 4 months while we saved up money for our first home.  They allowed Darlene and Justin to live in their home for 2.5 years.  It's about time for someone to return the favor.  If they move in, Caitlyn will move back in with Lizzie, Mason will move in with Bryce, and William will move into our room with us.  It will be a tight squeeze for a few months, but it will be okay.  Not sure when this will be happening, but maybe before the end of the year.
