Spring Break, Part 2
Yesterday (Wednesday), Jon and I dropped the kids off at Jon's parent's home and we were able to spend a good portion of the day together!
This was the only picture I got of our date, unfortunately.
The first thing we did was go to AVC. Jon had to take care of some work business. So he did some things while I walked around the classroom, ha ha.
Then we went out to eat at the only restaurant in Antelope Acres (where we are moving to). It's called "The Azteca" and it's a Mexican restaurant. It was really good! It was kind of pricey though, so it won't be a regular place for our family to dine at, that's for sure.
The we got to go to our future home! The inspection was taking place and so we were able to go and walk around. The house is in such great condition that the inspector couldn't think of a single negative thing to put on the inspectors report! It is such a nice, solid home. The current owners are the sweetest people and they took very good of their home. The husband actually took the day off of work so that he could show Jon how to de-winterize the swamp cooler. So nice of him!
Here are a few more pictures of the house that I was able to take!
Double oven! Hooray!
The boys are going to love this basketball hoop and large driveway to practice in! I might actually be more excited than they are, ha ha.
Move-in date is less than a month away. We are getting pretty excited. I can't believe how this all worked out! The people who live in our future home were even amazed at how everything seemed to fall in place (for all parties involved) so well. She said that "The Realtor God's" were shining down on the situation for sure! I know that it was all Heavenly Father's doing. This situation could not have been orchestrated by none other that God, himself. We are feel so blessed and grateful!
The older three kids slept at Jon's parents house. So they younger two and I had some fun today. We went to the Mall and spent hours there. They played on the indoor playground, we ate at Wetzel's Pretzel's (they love the cheese dip and pretzel bites), and we walked around. William accidentally spilled a whole water bottle on himself...so I had to go to a store and buy a cheap pair of pajamas for him to change into. Pamamas were cheaper than clothes...so pajamas it was.
Here are a few pics of the kids playing at the mall playground.
Everyone around was dying laughing at William's face! He was pretending to be a monster and then he would jump off of things and fly! It was hilarious!
I'm exhausted! Tomorrow will be a nice day. We are taking Lizzie to the L.A. Temple for the first time for her to do baptisms for the dead! Can hardly wait. I'm so excited for her.
