Another Decluttering and Potty Training Day

I can't forget to post these adorable pictures from the other night when Jon took the girls out on a date!
So adorable.




I had to add these next pictures to show how cuddly William is.  He snuggles all of the time and I just love his hugs so much!





William put his underwear on all by himself.  He was so proud of himself, even when he put both legs through the same hole!



Clearly, I think it's about time for me to get rid of this calendar.  If I haven't found the time to change the date since August 20th...than it's pointless!


William was being a little stubborn with his potty training.  He had 3 accidents.  But he peed 3 times and pooped 2 times in the potty!  One of the things that I did to get him on to sit on the potty was to pretend that the Dinosaurs really wanted to see him go potty.  Whatever works!

  

I spent the entire day decluttering...here is the Goodwill pile now!  Yikes!  Tomorrow we tackle the shed and then we can start packing and putting things in storage to get our house ready to sell.

I don't like moving...but I am looking forward to this new house!

Still Feeling Sad

 My camera broke on my phone, so I don't really have many pictures to share.  The only pictures that I have are of the selfie variety. Easter and General Conference has come and gone.  It was a nice Holy Week and Easter Weekend thinking about Jesus Christ and the sacrifice that He made for each and every one of us.  I finished listening to the book, "Considering the Cross", by John Hilton.  It was a great book and I learned a lot.  One particular part of the book that I have been thinking about is the part when he talked about the symbols of Easter.  He spoke of the Robe, the Reed, and the Crown.  The crimson robe is to remind us that Jesus entered the wine press alone.  He, alone, bore the weight of every single grape.  He did it for me.  The Reed is to remind us that although it was given to Jesus in mockery, He really did contain the power to rule.  He could have stopped everything...but he chose to stay.  The crown, ma...

Feeling Awful

 I feel awful about something that I did today.  Well, something that I DIDN'T do.  I feel like the worst person in the world.  I feel like horrible.  I was prompted to do something and I ignored the prompting.  It's eating me up. It's short, so I'll explain it here. I went to Relief Society today.  The first time in about three years.  I sat with Jon's Mom.  I noticed a girl sitting in front of me who was sitting alone.  I chatted with her.  I had the thought to sit next to her so she wouldn't have to sit alone, but I didn't feel like I could leave Sandy.  I didn't want to make Sandy feel bad by leaving her so I ignored the prompting.  Then I went and accompanied a song on the piano.  While I was playing I had the thought, again, that I needed to sit next to this girl.  I decided that I would sit next to her on my way back instead of sitting next to Sandy.  However, as I walked back, someone else was sittin...

The Last of the Spring Break, 2019 Posts

It's been a long 2 weeks!  It's been so wonderful though and I am really not ready for the kids to go back to school tomorrow.  I love having them home and I love having our freedom and no real responsibilities.  Summer couldn't come soon enough! We found out this week that Grandpa Duncan had a stroke.  We were all so sad.  We all fasted for him and have been praying every day for his recovery.  Even 7-year-old Mason, who has never fasted before, wanted to fast for Grandpa.  He dd so well and I was so proud of him!  We can hardly wait until June when we can visit Nana and Grandpa in person. I didn't realize it, but one of the days this week I did Walmart Pick-up (where I order things on-line and then the worker brings the groceries out to my car) and accidentally ordered A TON of these chocolate eggs!  They truly are the best chocolate egg in the world, so I'm not really complaining...but what in the world are we going to do with the...
