A Day of Firsts for Mason
What a busy day we had!
We woke up, I made homemade blueberry muffins for breakfast.
Then we got in the car and headed to "The Yellow House", as we have been referring to our Dream Home. On the way we saw a beautiful double rainbow! It was so bright and vibrant.
Here is our dream home! The yellow house. It is in Antelope Acres, which is about 20 to 25 minutes away from our current home. Homes in this area each have at least a few acres on each property. Our dream home has 2.5 acres. It is somewhat of a fixer-upper. The outside porch needs to be sanded down and painted. The inside needs a little help, but it also looks great in some areas. We like this home for the potential that it offers. It's a blank slate, we can design the landscaping the way that we want. We can plant trees, grass, make a fire pit...whatever we want. And we LOVE the wrap around porch and the balcony that comes off of the Master Bedroom!
The Front Porch!
Look at all of that wide open, peaceful, and quiet space!
Our across-the-dirt-road neighbor!
The kitchen! There is a double fireplace that opens into the kitchen and the family room.
I love the stairway! I can imagine decorating it for the holiday's. There is also that little odd short door...not sure what we will do with that. Toy storage?
Mason played in his FIRST basketball game! To be honest, he didn't enjoy it at all. He looked like he was going to cry the entire game. But he will push through it and make it to the end of the season!
These pictures were taken before the game started...
After Mason's game, he went to Rock-n-jump for the first time. He was invited to a birthday party. Rock-n-Jump is an indoor trampoline park. It is awesome!
Two sets of missionaries came over for dinner tonight as well as a new couple from our ward. We had a great time socializing!
It was a great Saturday!
