A Camping We A Go!

I had a rough week, emotionally. I'm just feeling down.  Empty.  Not sure what to do with myself since all of my kids are getting older.  I miss the days when I was needed 24/7.  Now I'm having a difficult time figuring out what my role is in life.  It's been hard, but I know I will figure it out eventually.  I am so incredibly blessed.  Borrowing from the Young Women Theme, I know that I am a daughter of Heavenly Parents who love me and that I have a divine nature and eternal destiny.  As a disciple of Jesus Christ, I will strive to become like Him.  I will seek and act upon personal revelation and try to minister to others in His holy name.  I will stand as a witness of God at all times and in all things and in all places.  As I strive to qualify for exaltation, I will cherish the gift of repentance and seek to improve each day.  With faith, I will strengthen my home and family, make and keep sacred covenants, and recei...

Our Savior - The Soul Saver

I failed to mention one very important thing that took place at the Temple on September 3rd, 2021. It was a little bit of inspiration that I received while waiting quietly during the endowment session. My mind exploded with "S" words that describe the Savior. They kept coming long after we left the temple. The soles of our temple shoes completely fell apart.  Mine turned to goo.  Jon’s was falling to pieces in small chunks.  Nothing could be done for our shoe soles!  As I was sitting there, waiting, during a long moment of silence before we moved to the next room in the endowment, the thought came to me, “Nothing can be done for our shoe soles...but what about our souls?”  Jesus Christ is the saver of souls.  The souls that really matter.  While temple shoes protect and provide a covering for the soles of our feet, the Savior protects and provides a covering for our Spirits, our Souls. Jesus...The Soul Saver He Serves me, Sanctifies me, Suffered f...

Bryce turned 12 (finally) on Wednesday, September 1st!  It seems like he's been 11 for fifteen years, ha ha, so it's about time he turned 12!  He seems to have really started maturing lately.  He is starting to really take care of his physical health lately.  He started lifting weights on his own.  He is taking care of his personal hygiene as well.  I'm very proud of the way that he is becoming more independent.  He wakes up on his own, packs his own lunch, etc. He is a very low-maintenance boy.  And he's still very respectful to me as well.  I am praying that this continues.  I have been very blessed thus far with children who are well behaved and continue to show me and our entire family respect.  It is a blessing being a mother in Israel. Also on September 1st, Jon and I celebrated our 15th wedding anniversary!  I can't believe that it has been 15 years.  It flew by!  15 years, 5 moves (1 apartment, 1 town ho...
