Feel Good Monday!

Image
I woke up this morning feeling so good.  Back to my normal self!  After feeling so heavy for the past week or so it felt amazing to wake up happy this morning.  I exercised and listened to my Come Follow Me Podcasts to start my day off right. I made Cinnamon bread yesterday and the kids ate it for breakfast this morning with yogurt. School went as well as possible...getting back into the grind after a good weekend is always a little difficult. The boys playing with Lego's during their "break". We gave Bryce his birthday gift a day early.  He got a kindle with a ton of books on it.  We are hoping that it will jump start his passion for reading.  We are willing to try anything! Caitlyn and William put on a puppet show with William's Alphabet puppets that he made in preschool.  I was so tired that I fell asleep on the couch during their performance, ha ha.  They had fun though.  Yesterday, on the way to the beach, we passed the exit that we normally take when we travel to the Los Angeles Temple.  I got emotional.  I miss the temple so much.  I really do.  I miss being able to walk inside of those walls and feel an immediate sense of peace.  I need that so badly right now.  I need the temple!  I hope that General Conference will help me to feel peace, but I'm guessing that the peace that I am ultimately seeking will only be able to be felt inside of the Lord's Holy House.  I hope that the temple will be able to open up again soon.  I hope that we will be able to go to church again soon.  I will never take the ability to attend church for granted again.  The past 6 months have truly helped me to recognize how much I really need people in my life.  When we go back to church I want to get to know every single person in my ward.  I want to serve with all of my might, mind, and strength.  I a...

Beach Day

Image
We went to the beach today!  We went to our favorite beach in Long Beach.  There aren't really waves to play in, but it's more of a relaxing beach where we can relax and play in the sand.  The weather was perfect, not to hot.  After the beach, we went to Whole Foods and grabbed some dinner before heading home. I saw this image that really describes how I deal with Anxiety.  I don't know if I need medication.  I think I'm pretty high functioning.  But Anxiety does rule my life at times. Anyway, here our beach pictures! William and I, first thing in the morning. The boys were playing with their new Harry Potter Lego set that the built yesterday.  It came with a tiny baby Lord Voldemort, their favorite part of the whole set, ha ha.
